I’m a fan of all sports, but primarily Major League Baseball, the National Football League, College Football, and College Basketball. The Yankees have always been my favorite sports team, however I live in a region of the country where there aren’t many other fans of them. I’m also not living in the most successful time for the Yankee franchise either. Thus, I am in “exile.”
What I love most about American sports is the unbelievable, incredible (and sometimes downright odd) stories from their past, of which, there are many.
Each Wednesday, I post a new story analyzing a past sports figure, team, event, or moment and the places and people that shaped its legacy. I then explain its impact on the present day.
